In June 2008 the school achieved the ‘Investors in Pupils’ award. This is a quality standard award which involves pupils in their learning.
It covers 5 areas: Attendance, Behaviour, Learning, Induction and Classroom Management.
The school was again successful when it was re-assessed in June2011. We believe that all aspects of this award support positive attitudes to school and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour and learning.
All staff and pupils play an active part in ensuring that each area of IIP is recognised in classroom practice.
We are delighted to share the successful outcome of our recent reassessement in July 2014.
